Alberta Chrome & Grinding uses hard chromium plating that has multiple advantages and provides outstanding quality. Hard chrome provides a surface hardness of 65-70 HRC which improves the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of plated surfaces. Hard Chrome also has a low coefficient of friction, which is an important factor for cutting or sliding apparatus.
